The Week Ahead

December 11-15

As we head toward the holidays, it's getting very busy in  our classroom.

In ELA, we will be identifying author point of view in literary and informational text. Students will be reading fractured fairy tales in small groups and writing a shared fractured narrative of their own. In math, we are using strategies to multiply by multiples of 10. We will have a test on Thursday. In science, we are continuing our study of electricity. On Wednesday, students from the high school will be spending the morning with us, teaching us about  circuits. Thursday is COMFY COZY DAY- a schoolwide reward earned by the students. Friday is SuperHero Day.

Don't forget, Wed. Dec. 20, we will be making ginigerbread houses. All parents with clearances on file with the district are welcome to help us with this fun project. Please let me know if you plan to join us.
